Caridad Catering

Food for the Social Good began in July of 2014 as the Social Enterprise piece of Caridad Community Kitchen. All proceeds from catering go right back to the Community Food Bank and Caridad Community Kitchen in order to feed those hungry in the community and provide training for those hungry for change and sustainability. Caridad Catering caters to businesses, private homes, and community events such as TEP, Bank of America, Salvation Army, Tucson Iron Chef, Food & Wine, Salsa & Tequila, Celebrity Chefs, Veterans feeding Veterans, Stand-Down Tucson, Empty Bowls, and many more. Caridad Community Kitchen staff supports the catering program in both the front and back of the house. Support staffing is done with select Caridad Alumni, who get paid a solid living wage and are provided with continuing education through catered menus and recipes.
