May 14, 2022 The 30th annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is the largest food drive of the year to benefit the Community Food Bank! The drive has been a huge success over the years and historically brings in much-needed food donations to stock our local food pantries for Summer. To participate, you can collect a bag of non-perishable food and then set it out by your mailbox on Saturday, May 14 to be picked up by your letter carrier. June 4, 2022 Canstruction Tucson: Build for Hunger is a fun and unique building competition between local architects, engineers, builders, contractors, and designers to build structures made out of cans. All proceeds benefit the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and will go towards building healthy, hunger-free communities. The structures will then be on display at Park Place Mall from June 4th – June 17th as a larger-than-life art exhibition. This event will bring much needed awareness to the issue of food insecurity in southern Arizona, especially during the summer months when the food bank sees an increased need for food assistance.
