The nationwide Stamp Out Hunger food drive is cancelled after being postponed from its original May 9 date because of COVID concerns.
The traditional Stamp Out Hunger drive invites people to leave food donations by their mailbox for their letter carrier to collect. In southern Arizona the drive brought in 260,000 pounds of food last year. Concerns about social distancing along with handling and sorting large amounts of donations have postponed and now changed the drive to become an online event this year.
