Project Isaiah 2026

Project Isaiah is an annual High Holidays food drive organized by Tucson’s Jewish community. The drive is named for the Prophet Isaiah, who when asked why we fast on Yom Kippur, responded:

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry?

This year, 15 synagogues, congregations, and Jewish agencies are participating by collecting donations and serving as drop-off locations throughout the community.

Their dedication and generosity play a vital role in helping the Community Food Bank meet the growing need for food assistance across Southern Arizona. We are sincerely grateful for their ongoing support and partnership in the fight against hunger.

Monetary donations may be made at jparizona.givingfuel.com/project-isaiah-2026 or by sending a check payable to Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona to 3718 E. River Road, Suite 100, Tucson, AZ 85718, with “Project Isaiah” on the memo line. 

The most-needed non-perishable food items include:

• cereal
• granola bars
• canned tuna & chicken
• canned tomato products
• soups
• vegetables
• fruit
• rice
• pasta
• beans
• packaged nuts & seeds
