Volunteer with Us
Volunteers like you make our work possible. We couldn’t do it without you!
We welcome individual volunteers, teams, corporate groups, families, and more. We also have opportunities for people to complete court-ordered community service.
What You Can Do
Our volunteers do it all, including packing and sorting food, distributing food, working in our community gardens, serving meals at our community kitchen, and helping out in our administrative offices. We welcome volunteers at all of our locations: Tucson, Marana, Green Valley, Amado, and Nogales.
View all volunteer opportunities, read commonly asked questions, or sign up for a volunteer shift!
Court-Ordered Community Service
Volunteers are welcome at the Community Food Bank to fulfill court-mandated community service hours. Community Service volunteers must be 16 or older, and we do not accept volunteers who have been charged with violent offenses such as domestic violence, assault, sexual harassment, sexual abuse, disorderly conduct, armed robbery, or aggravated assault. For more information, questions, requirements, or to schedule court-ordered volunteer shifts, please contact our team below.
Bring the Kids!
Want to introduce the kids in your life to giving back and helping others? Regular volunteers at the Community Food Bank have to be 16 or older, but on special Family Volunteer Days the whole family is welcome! Kids get to learn what a food bank does, get a behind-the-scenes look at how we serve our community, and lend a hand. Registration is required and attendance is limited. For questions or upcoming event dates, please contact our team below.
Volunteer as a Group
Bring the whole team! Get a group together and volunteer at the Community Food Bank for fun team-building that makes a difference. Bring your sports team, church group, coworkers, or community organization, or just rally friends and family to join you. For large group volunteer opportunities, please contact our team below.
