Ending hunger and supporting healthy, thriving communities takes more than distributing food. We have to advocate for the future we want to see: from training and encouraging community leaders, to building collective power to influence policies that will lead to real improvements in people’s lives.

The most important member of our advocacy team? You, our community members! Your voice is a powerful tool. Use it to take action against hunger and poverty today.

Sowing Remedies

We invite you to join us on a journey to create a better future for our planet and its people. During the nine-month Sowing Remedies Youth Fellowship (March – November), you’ll learn about sustainability, food justice, career development, and community leadership through the process of growing your own food. Ten students (five spots are reserved for Indigenous youth) who want to make a difference in their communities will be selected to participate. The application deadline is February 22nd.
