About Caridad Community Meals

Changing Lives, One Meal at a Time

Community Meals make it easy for people in need to access healthy, comforting meals. Our Community Meals Program does not require program registration, an ID, or for guests to call ahead. Anyone in need of a meal can arrive at our meal sites during their service time to receive ready-to-eat food.

Planned and prepared by our kitchen team, culinary students, and dedicated volunteers of Caridad Community Kitchen, meals feature nutritious foods that offer comfort and sustenance. Our balanced, healthy meals always include a protein source, a starch, and a vegetable or a fruit. Bonus items, when available, include bread and dessert.

Dine-in or Grab & Go Meals are available at least once a day through distribution with our partner agency meal sites or at our Caridad Community Kitchen location.

We also reach people by offering hot soup and hot chocolate during the winter months through a mobile distribution site, as well as Grab & Go Meals at drop-in cooling centers during the summer months.
