DIA DE LOS MUERTOS 2026
We invite you to join us in celebrating Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) from October 31 – November 2 at the Community Food Bank (Country Club).
- October 31: Community Ofrenda Installation
- November 1: Día de los Angelitos (children and infants)
- November 2: Día de los Muertos (adults)
You can honor your loved ones (including pets) who have passed by placing photographs or notes on our Altars of Remembrance. This is a meaningful way to pay tribute and preserve their legacy in our shared memory. The altars will be located in our Nuestra Tierra Garden within the grapevine trellis area, and will be active starting October 28th to November 11th.
How to Participate:
- Bring a picture of your loved ones to place on the altar.
- Be sure to include their name, birth month/year, and passing month/year.
- Please do not leave original photos on the altar, as all photos will be respectfully shredded and composted afterward.
What to Add to the Altar: As we set up our community altar, please consider the following guidelines:
The community altar will be assembled at 8:30 AM on October 28th and taken down the morning of November 12th.
