Support your neighbors in need by donating to Stuff the Cat Tran! You can bring any donations to the stationed bus outside of the Student Union. Volunteers will be loading up the Cat Tran with community donations and from the collection boxes around campus.
Participants will focus on conserving the desert’s most precious natural resource, water. In this class, participants will learn a variety of methods to irrigate their gardens, from ancient traditional agricultural techniques to modern state of the art technologies. Participants will learn some of the foundational principles of Organic Gardening. We’ll go over Tucson’s unique planting calendar, talk about pest control, and also cover topics like companion planting, crop rotation, and organic fertilizers. Todos los talleres son bilingues.
