It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The 73rd Annual Winterhaven Festival of Lights starts Saturday, December 10th and runs through Monday, December 26th. You can go from 6 PM to 10 PM each night.
Remember to bring a bag of food with you! Our most needed items are peanut butter, canned fruit, cereal, canned meats, canned vegetables, canned soups, and canned tomato products. We’re collecting donations at each entrance.
What better way to get into the holiday spirit than to grab a warm cup of hot chocolate and see the festive lights of the neighborhood!
Our thanks to Arizona Party Bike for donating all of their Winterhaven profits to the Community Food Bank this year. Owner Robert Mayer says Winterhaven helped him get his business off the ground in 2014. So he’s generously giving back this year.
“With rising food prices and homelessness, it made sense to me that Arizona Party Bike could make a huge contribution by turning our Winterhaven tours into a fundraiser for the food bank,” said Mayer, “Arizona Party Bike will donate every dollar of profit it makes from Winterhaven this year to the food bank. Hopefully we can increase what they raise during the festival by $10,000-$15,000.”
